Man Going To Work Riddle

A man lives in an apartments and gets up for work he lives on the 20th floor he goes to work by going down the elevator and goes of the work he comes back get in the elevatorand presses the 15th floor button and walk the rest of the way to the 20th floor why does he walk the rest of the way?
