Family Friend Riddle

One day a girl was at her mothers funeral. She saw a guy there her age that she had never seen before who was a family friend so that was why he was at the funeral. They fell in love and went out and dates. But one day the guy stopped calling and stopped coming over and the girl didnt see him for a while. After about a week of not seeing him she killed her sister. Why?
